Notably, IIT Kanpur submitted the highest number of applications (22) among the IITs, showcasing their leading role in semiconductor research.

Qualcomm, Huawei, Vivo Mobile Communication, and Hitachi Energy are international companies actively filing patents in India. Their applications include advanced IC packages, memory circuits, 5G technology, and power semiconductors.
